Simon and Kazuko are retired teachers, moving to Hay on Wye to be near their daughters and grandchild.
The Old Cider House has been painstaking renovated by themselves to give the perfect destination for a family or group of friends to use as a base to explore Hay on Wye and everything the surrounding area has to offer.
Kazuko has hand crafted many of the soft furnishings using traditional needlework skills from Japan, so you can sink into the handcrafted cushions or read a good book while resting on the bedroom window seats.
Having grown up in a guest house in Japan, Kazuko is using all her traditional skills to offer a menu of Japanese dishes for you to order, so you don't have to cook after a long day browsing all the book shops. You can find the menu under Additional Services.
